Questions

Straight answers before you reach out

Still wondering about something? Call (336) 396-5518 or ask during your evaluation.

Close-up of a patient's outer ear.
What is SAAT?

SAAT stands for Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment, a specialized form of ear (auricular) acupuncture. At your evaluation, Dr. Huff explains how he uses it and whether it could be appropriate for you.

Does the $79 visit include acupuncture?

The $79 evaluation covers one-on-one time with Dr. Huff, a history review, an explanation of the approach, the point assessment, and a discussion of next steps. If SAAT is right for you, treatment is scheduled as its own visit.

Do I need a confirmed alpha-gal diagnosis?

Please share whatever you have, such as testing results, notes from your allergist, or a record of your reactions. The clinic's point assessment is used for treatment planning and is not a diagnostic test for alpha-gal syndrome. If you have not been evaluated for alpha-gal, a qualified healthcare provider can help.

What happens if I qualify?

If you choose to move forward, Dr. Huff creates a personalized treatment plan with you, explains any treatment cost, and you begin your SAAT treatments with him. There is no obligation to continue, and the decision is yours.

Some SAAT protocols involve a single treatment for a particular allergen, but one treatment and its result cannot be promised. Dr. Huff will explain the proposed plan if appropriate.

Is SAAT guaranteed to work?

No treatment can promise a result, and responses vary from person to person. The published study is encouraging, and Dr. Huff will talk through what it could mean for your situation.

What happens after I submit the form?

Our team will contact you to arrange your evaluation. Submitting the form does not confirm an appointment or commit you to treatment. If you would rather talk now, call (336) 396-5518.
